Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.Genesis 2:24 (ESV)- One important way to understand "one flesh" is the sexual union of husband and wife.

Intimacy in marriage, including sex, is a gift of God designed to strengthen a husband and wife in marriage. But, what is designed to be SOOOOO good isn't easy. Can I get an Amen?
